Refugees and the UK - What Do You Actually Know?

The facts about people seeking safety in the UK get twisted all the time. Recently, the terrifying news broke that more than 200 children, seeking safety in the UK, had gone missing from Home Office accommodation, probably kidnapped by criminal gangs.

People who wanted to downplay this catastrophe brushed the victims off as ‘Albanian teenagers’. As if being 13, or from a certain country, makes your kidnap by criminals ‘no big deal’.

Some politicians and sections of the media offer up these ‘alternative facts’ about refugees to obscure the terrible treatment that people are subjected to in the asylum system. But what are the real facts?

Refugee Action's new quiz challenges you to find out what you really know about refugees in the UK. Try it and share it today.
