Life in the UK trip to London

Some BRASS students have been working very hard every Tuesday afternoon learning about Britain so that they can pass their Life in the UK test. The test expects them to know all sorts of facts about living in the UK including lots of history and lots of information about the capital city. To help them we had 2 visits to London.

We saw Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, we went into Westminster Abbey, walked along Whitehall, saw 10 Downing Street and the Cenotaph. After a break for lunch we saw Nelson on his column in Trafalgar Square and walked along the Mall to Buckingham Palace. It was so much fun and we all learnt a lot.

Here are Mabel and June enjoying the trip. Let’s hope all the students now pass the test. Good luck to them, they have worked so hard they really deserve it!
